Simple
Simple means raising your standards.
Simple means calling a muscle by its real name but providing a picture showing where the muscle is in the horse’s physique.
Simple is a base allowing you to go as far as your skill and your horse’s talent permit.
There is a good reason why Albert Einstein differentiated simple and simpler. “Everything should be made as simple as possible but not simpler.”
Simpler works at a low level but hampers the rider and the horse’s ability to reach their full potential. Simple demands the knowledge to explain cell adaptation as clearly as educating the Piaffe and Passage. The Science of Motion has this knowledge as we are a team of P.h.D researchers and high-level riders completing each other expertise.
We have a higher level program, PAB, Practical Application of Biotensegrity, where we combine through weekly postings, Science, and Experience.
We have a medium-level program IHTC, where we explain how the horse’s physique functions in the light of actual knowledge.
We now start a program that makes the practical application of actual knowledge Simple. We name the program SIMPLE.
The program includes a pertinent study about starting a young horse from the horse’s first experience with humans to riding him without any stress or negative reaction. The whole process has been recorded on video.

Monthly study
First month’s discussion. Difference between the Classical and the Neutral seat. The teaching video presents the differences, and the discussion explains the advantages of the neutral seat and how to do it.
Second month’s discussion. The hind legs and front legs’ decelerating phase.
The classical literature believes that the hind legs propel the horse’s body upward toward balance as soon as ground contact. They don’t. The hind legs and the forelegs first exert a decelerating activity where the tendons, fascia aponeurosis, and muscles resist impact forces storing elastic energy that they use for the propulsive phase.
Scientific studies use the term “Braking” phase. I rather the word “Decelerating” as the hind and front legs don’t really break; they store and reuse elastic energy.
The point is that the supporting hind leg is no longer under the belly when it starts to propel the horse’s body forward. The hind legs thrust does not propel the body upward but instead creates a force in the direction of the motion.
This brings us to the subject of the third discussion. “Balance,” how the horse achieves balance control.

Rules
-Facts often contradict faith. “Simple” will not tolerate hatred and insulting comments. If you don’t understand a point, the intelligent approach is asking a question.
-“Simple” members can post one video per month. You will receive a video explaining the quality duration and content of the videos.
-“Simple” talks about ideas, not persons. Names don’t add anything to the conversation. “Someone told me” is as far as you should go. There is no need to say who says what. In case the response contradicts the belief, dropping a name creates personal conflict.
-The questions need to be brief, clear, and about the subject. The questions need to be real questions and not statements disguised in question.
-The young horse education will be presented in parallel with the main program. It will be one video per month. Ronda Hanning did the whole education and will talk about her work. Questions will have to be addressed to the Science of Motion and Ronda and I will respond. “Simple” will therefore post two videos per month. The two videos might not necessarily be posted on the same day.
-I have in mind the whole year program of subjects but I am willing to bend if a subject of particular interest is proposed. I listen to what you would like to see studied in “Simple.”
-We will talk about work in hand and riding. The Science of Motion’s work in hand is planned to be the fourth subject of conversation.
-The material presented on “Simple” is the property of the Science of Motion. No picture or video should be copied or used in different groups without the written authorization of Science of Motion.
-“Simple” cannot be used for personal advertising or the promotion of people and products.
